CentroNía’s Studio R.O.C.K.S. summer camp is well underway! Studio R.O.C.K.S. provides students with meaningful programming during out-of-school time – before/after school and during breaks. The program focuses on academic enrichment, self-discovery, and creative exploration which allows for students to continue learning while also enjoying break. Studio R.O.C.K.S. also fulfills a critical need for low-income, working families by providing a safe space for their children to be while they are at work. This summer, CentroNía teachers are teaching the students about different countries through research and art. Teachers are also incorporating books into their lessons and some students receive one-on-one literacy coaching to support their development over the summer break. It’s not all about academics in Studio R.O.C.K.S. this summer! Everyone embarks on weekly field trips to recreational parks in the region to spend time outside to play and enjoy the beautiful weather.  Check out some of the photos below. If you’re interested in enrolling your child in CentroNía’s Studio R.O.C.K.S. program for the 2017-2018 school year, fill out the wait-list application today!
