Celebrate Día de los Niños and the importance of literacy for children of all backgrounds as a volunteer at CentroNía. We invite you into our classrooms to experience the joy of reading with CentroNía early learners. You can bring a children’s book of your choice (Spanish or English) to read to a class, or we can provide one for you. The best way to experience the magic of early childhood education at CentroNía is to join us as a volunteer and meet the early learners and their families as they are learning and growing in a multicultural, bilingual community.
If you’d like to join us as a volunteer at this event, please RSVP through VolunteerMatch.
About Día de los Niños:
“El Día de los Niños-Celebrating Young Americans is a gift from the Latino community to all children. Many nations throughout the world, and especially within the Western hemisphere celebrate “Día de los Niños” on April 30th to honor and celebrate children—who represent the hopes and dreams of every community.” – excerpt from National Latino Children’s Institute website
